Poster Making Competition for Adoption Awareness Month 2025 (India)

Deadline: 30-Nov-2025

The Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov, is launching the Poster Making Competition to raise awareness about adoption of children with special needs (Divyaang children).

The creative initiative aims to engage citizens across the country in promoting the message that every child—regardless of ability—deserves the love, security, and support of a family.

Centered around the themes of Non-institutionalised Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs (Divyaang Children), Every Child Deserves a Loving Family, Special Parenting for Children with Special Needs, and #EveryChildMatters, the campaign encourages participants to use their artistic expression to spread awareness, compassion, and inclusion for children with special needs.

This initiative encourages the use of visual storytelling to amplify voices that advocate for the non-institutionalised rehabilitation of Divyaang children and their right to grow up in a nurturing home environment.

It invites participants to use their creativity to drive awareness and foster compassion through meaningful art that promotes inclusion and acceptance. By focusing on the significance of family care, this campaign emphasizes the importance of creating a loving and supportive ecosystem for children with special needs.

The Top 15 winners will be rewarded with Rs 3000 each as recognition for their impactful contribution. The competition is open to all Indian citizens residing in India, with participants allowed to submit a minimum of one and a maximum of three mascot designs.

Entries will be evaluated based on originality and creativity, simplicity, relatability, and alignment with the theme.

The deadline for submission is 30 November 2025.
