UN Women/UNFPA seeking Applications to Organise and Conduct a Grassroots Awareness Campaign to Tackle Gender Stereotypes in Azerbaijan

The UN Women and UNFPA have announced a call for proposals to procure of services to organise and conduct a grassroots awareness campaign to tackle gender stereotypes and foster increased responsibility of men for domestic work and child-care during the COVID-19 crisis in Azerbaijan.

Scope of Work
The main purpose of the assignment is to contribute to bringing about behavioural change, by challenging harmful social norms and achieving shifts in fatherhood beliefs and parental practices.
The activities should target the population in general along with targeted groups in local community with a focus on of faith-based groups/organizations and young men/fathers. The activities should utilise a series of communication tools/strategies with active engagement of men, FBOs and influential actors/male celebrities and ensure also contribution to increased capacities to mobilize grassroots support and impact cultural norms, with particular emphasis on the dynamics of gender relations in families and equal distribution of household and caregiving responsibilities.
The communication tools/strategies to be used should be informed by the short- and long-term effects of COVID-19 pandemic on men and women as well as dynamics of inter-personal relationships within the families.
Under overall guidance of the EU4GE programme manager, and direct guidance of UNFPA Azerbaijan CO, Service Provider will be responsible for delivering the following tasks:
Eligibility Criteria

CVs of the project coordinator and key trainers/experts to be engaged in the action should be submitted alongside the offer. The proposed team members must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in their respective area of expertise.
