The Greater Washington Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund was established in March 2020 to support the critical needs of residents of the Greater Washington region who are being disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic is having an unprecedented impact on their region. The COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund has made rapid and deep investments in organizations supporting a range of emergency support services. The Greater Washington Community Foundation and their partners continue to monitor the situation as it evolves to inform their grantmaking strategy.
