Disability Rights Law Moot Court: Call for Applications

Change Our Game Finance for Non-Financial Managers Pilot Program (Australia)

Deadline: 06-Mar-22

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and the Centre for Disability Law and Policy at the National University of Ireland Galway are inviting law students from programmes in OSCE participating States to register as a team for the first ODIHR Disability Rights Law Moot Court Competition.

The competition is a unique opportunity for law students to deepen their knowledge in the field of disability rights law and develop their research, writing and advocacy skills. Individuals who self-identify as having a disability are especially encouraged to participate.

The Moot Court aims to promote awareness of international human rights law as a tool for advancing the rights of persons with disabilities across all OSCE participating States. It also seeks to showcase the advantages of including persons with disabilities in the justice sector.
