Call for Proposals: UNESCO Intersectoral Programme on Environmental Education

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is seeking applications for its Intersectoral Programme to support climate change education.

The Intersectoral Programme IP2 on Environmental Education aims to promote learning and teaching activities on climate change and the environment in UNESCO designated sites, engage schools and teachers with local communities, and collect and share evidence and policy efforts on climate change education.

UNESCO continuously supports national stakeholders, including ministries and schools, in their efforts to mainstream climate change in and through education and learning. This initiative responds to the demands from youth for quality climate education generated from the global youth consultation on the quality of climate change education conducted by UNESCO in 2022.

Under the overall authority of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, the incumbent shall carry out the following tasks:
