The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking applications from organisations for a program entitled “Global Emergency Response and Recovery Partner Engagement: Expanding Efforts and Strategies to Improve Rapid Response to Public Health Emergencies Globally”.

The aim is to support the achievement of the Global Health Security Agenda targets that focus on improving global public health emergency rapid response through international, regional, national, and local partnership.

Its purpose is to build capacity and support rapid response efforts to mitigate the adverse public health effects of infectious disease outbreaks, humanitarian crises (such as natural disasters, armed conflict and famine) and other PHEICs.

Funding Information: The estimated total funding is $50,000,000.
