Deadline: 01-Aug-2025
Get ready for a career in artificial intelligence through a series of courses featuring the latest AI tools, designed especially for learners with limited access to AI and machine learning opportunities. The AWS AI & ML Scholars program, in collaboration with Udacity, offers a global learning opportunity for students to gain foundational AI skills and prepare for careers in technology.
The program provides hands-on experience with real-world projects and instruction from AI experts. It begins with the Challenge Phase, where applicants are automatically enrolled upon applying. In this phase, learners gain introductory knowledge in Generative AI and build their own app using AWS PartyRock.
Upon successful completion of the Challenge Phase, selected learners move into the Nanodegree Phase. This advanced stage allows participants to explore deeper applications of Generative AI and its connection to future careers in tech.
Students can choose from three specialized tracks with practical projects designed to develop job-ready AI skills. The first, Future AWS AI Scientist, focuses on technical expertise with training in advanced Python, PyTorch, and neural networks like transformers. This track equips learners to solve complex AI challenges.
The second track, Future AWS Business Intelligence Engineer, uses no-code AI tools to create smart business solutions. Learners build apps with Amazon Q Business, automate workflows, and visualize data stories without coding, improving productivity and business impact.
The third option, Future AWS AI Engineer, prepares learners to develop responsible, scalable generative AI systems. Participants work with tools like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, implement responsible AI practices, and build intelligent agents using Python and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
The program covers the full cost of the four-month Nanodegree on Udacity and is open to learners aged 18 and above. No prior experience in AI or machine learning is required, and the opportunity is available globally, wherever permitted.
