Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity Programme – A Funded Fellowship to fight Inequality

Research Grants on Reducing Inequality (United States)

Deadline: 12-Jan-23

Are you a change-maker committed to fighting inequality? Do you want to learn from scholars, innovators, activists and social change organisations, and the latest academic research and expert insights on inequalities? Are you ready to join forces with a lifelong global network of peers? If yes, then this opportunity is for you!

The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE) programme is a funded fellowship based at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science. AFSEE is one of seven interconnected Atlantic Fellowships worldwide.

AFSEE is looking for Fellows who are bold and ready to challenge power; who see the bigger picture of how inequalities are playing out; who are imaginative and daring in the way they envision solutions; who bring care and collaboration into their practice; who recognise the significance of lived experience of inequality, and whose own lived experience informs their practice; who focus not on advancing their careers, but on their commitment to changing the world through collective and collaborative approaches.

The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity programme has two different tracks: Residential and Non-Residential. Members of the Residential track also study the MSc in Inequalities and Social Science at LSE during their active fellowship year. Members of both tracks participate in rigorous academic coursework, as well as sessions on leadership and skills development, and practical approaches to fostering social change.
