The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is seeking nominations for its Corporate Women Leadership Awards to recognize and celebrate exceptional corporate women leaders whose innovative approach has created positive changes in the business world.
These Awards aim at honouring and generating public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of women leaders, who are creating a new and ever-lasting template of success.
Gone are the days when jobs came with a gender division; women over time have proven their worth in the professional world. Alongside, women have also proved their mettle in entrepreneurship over the years as more and more women entrepreneurs have joined the bandwagon and proved their worth by owning businesses across the spectrum. As a result, today Indian women are creating greater values in the lives of people and businesses worldwide with their leadership and entrepreneurial capability. They are helping businesses to grow to the next momentum of success.

Rationale for Instituting the Award
- To recognise professionals who have greatly contributed to their company’s growth and have been a pivot for an inclusive culture within the company
- To increase women’s participation in the workforce
- To encourage women to excel, grow and inspire other professionals in the industry

Eligibility Criteria
- Founders and Promoters, CEOs, MDs, Functional Heads of listed companies, privately owned or public sector undertaking (excluding proprietorship and partnerships)
- Individuals must have been with the company for at least two years on the date of nomination
- Company revenue qualifying criteria of more than 250 Crore INR will be considered; other than Start-ups/ other categories
Nomination Guidelines
- Nominations will be sought for Category B & C only
- Nominations for Category A will flow from Category B (Except for Lifetime Achievement)
- Nominees will be required to share any additional information as may be requested by the Jury
- Nomination submission will constitute acceptance of all terms & conditions, and the decision of the Jury will be final and binding
- Nomination can apply for one award in Sectoral and Thematic categories each
- Women leaders can self-nominate or companies/ others can nominate an individual in case of third-party nominations, mails will be sent to women leaders informing them and requesting submission of the form
