Grants to support Good Governance in areas of Human Rights & Democracy - Cameroon

Deadline: 15-Apr-23

The United Nations Human Rights invites nominations of individuals or organizations for the 2023 United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights.

The prize, which is given out every five years, recognizes individuals or organizations for outstanding achievements in the field of human rights.

The prize will be awarded at an event at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on December 2023, as part of the annual commemoration of the Human Rights Day and The 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).

The United Nations Prizes in the Field of Human Rights (The UN Human Rights Prizes) are honourary awards given to individuals or organizations in recognition of their outstanding contributions in the field of human rights.

The Prize is an opportunity not only to give public recognition to the achievements of the recipients themselves, but also to send a clear message of support to human rights defenders around the world.

The award ceremony will take place at UN Headquarters in New York in December 2023.
