The Lincolnshire Community Foundation is inviting applications for its Thonock Aspiration Fund to support the wellbeing, aspirations and opportunities of children attending school settings in Gainsborough and the surrounding area.
With a total annual fund of around £7,000 and a maximum of £300 available per project, the grant aims to help schools create enriching and developmental experiences for students.
Payments are generally made in advance and applications are reviewed on a monthly basis to ensure consistent access to funding. In cases of urgency, requests can be fast-tracked through prior discussion.
Applications are invited from whole school or class-based initiatives such as outings, experiences, and group activities, as well as from school clubs or groups seeking funding for equipment, kits, or transport costs.
Successful applicants are expected to spend the funds within 12 months and submit a short report outlining how the grant benefited the children. This ensures transparency and highlights the positive impact of the support provided.
