Deadline: 25 November 2025
The Exploration Co-Lab Edges of Possibility open call invites visionary innovators and creative thinkers to share ideas that challenge conventional boundaries and reimagine what’s possible for the planet and its people.
The initiative seeks individuals with ideas already in motion—concepts that explore the intersection of human and natural systems, and that hold the potential to create space for thriving, interconnected living systems.
Successful applicants will receive grant funding of CHF 10,000 to help transform their idea into tangible action. In addition, participants will gain access to a shared pool of up to CHF 60,000 in non-financial tailored support, designed to nurture their innovation and deepen its impact. This support includes opportunities for peer learning and shared exploration, individualised coaching and expert guidance, and strategic positioning to strengthen both the innovator and their idea. Participants will also receive help in defining and measuring success, while developing their capacity for systems and futures thinking—essential tools for driving long-term change.
The selected innovators will embark on a 12-month journey beginning in January 2026, joining a cohort of peers in an online environment dedicated to systemic transformation, collaboration and wellbeing. Throughout this experience, participants will benefit from visibility and amplification through Unearthodox’s communication channels, helping to extend the reach of their work and connect with wider audiences. They will also become part of a global community of systems innovators, mentors and network weavers, all committed to supporting one another through deep allyship and shared purpose.
To be eligible, applicants must be over 18 years of age and submit their entry in English, though translations are welcomed and will not be penalised for grammatical or vocabulary errors. Entries must clearly respond to the theme of nature-society focused systems change and align with the five evaluation criteria outlined by the organisers. Applicants should be innovators with early-stage ideas already in motion, working at the intersection of environmental and societal challenges, and ready to explore new directions.
Entries must be submitted through the official online portal, and applicants must confirm that they are not employed or contracted by Unearthodox. By accepting the grant, successful participants must ensure that no laws, contracts or third-party obligations are breached. Applications from countries under international sanctions that restrict fund transfers cannot be accepted.
The Edges of Possibility open call represents a rare and inspiring opportunity to join a global movement of change-makers. By blending financial support, mentorship and collaboration, the programme seeks to empower innovators who are daring to reimagine how humanity and nature can thrive together.
