The Public Affairs Section at US Embassy Montevideo, on behalf of the US Department of State  has announced an open competition for organizations to submit applications for funding through the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP), at US Embassy in Uruguay, to carry out a project to preserve cultural heritage in this specific priority country.

Objectives

The AFCP Small Grants Competition supports the preservation of cultural sites, cultural objects and collections, and forms of traditional cultural expression in developing countries. Appropriate project activities may include:

Each application forwarded to the AFCP Program Office will be evaluated and rated on the basis of the criteria outlined below.
