Call for Proposals: Voices for Inclusion Media Grants - Malaysia

The Embassy of Finland in Bucharest is currently accepting proposals for its 2020 Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC), which is an instrument for funding non-profit projects in the Republic of Moldova. The FLC is geared towards local civil society actors and independent media to carry out well-targeted projects with a clear goal and sustainable outcome.

The FLC of the Embassy of Finland is an instrument of Finnish development cooperation. As a development policy instrument, the FLC supports the goals and principles of the Finnish development policy and priority areas. The latter are:

Projects funded from the FLC should be in line with these priority areas.

Additionally, the projects should be implemented with the human rights-based approach. This means that Human Rights are systematically integrated in the means and objectives of projects supported by the FLC.

Funding Information

Award amounts will range from 20,000€ – 50,000€. Project duration is limited up to one year. The Embassy of Finland has total budget of 90 000 EUR for the projects selected in 2020. Maximum 2 – 4 projects will be selected following this call.
