The U.S. Mission to France announces the Alumni Small Grants Competition – France 2021, which supports U.S. government-funded exchange and training program alumni in implementing best practices and experiences gained during their program.

The Alumni Small Grants Competition – France 2021 provides alumni of U.S. government- sponsored and facilitated exchange and training programs with funding to expand on skills gained during their exchange experience to design and implement innovative solutions to global challenges facing their community.

The U.S. Mission to France will accept public service projects proposed and managed by alumni that support U.S.-France leadership on global challenges:

  • Entrepreneurship and economic development;
  • Diversity and Inclusion;
  • Women and girls’ empowerment;
  • Promotion of American studies and American English;
  • Cooperation in sciences, technology, health and innovation;
  • Countering violent extremism;
  • Media literacy and countering disinformation.

Funding Information

  • Total available funding: Up to $10,000
  • Number of awards anticipated: Up to 2 awards between $2,000.00 and $5,000.00
  • Length of performance period: Up to 12 months
