The All In WA is encouraging for its Child Care Initiative that will fund trusted statewide intermediaries, community-based organizations and tribes with strong relationships with networks of child care providers and the capacity to administer flexible grants to licensed family child care businesses in Washington.

This Initiative will prioritize child care business owners, who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) given the disproportionate impacts of COVID19 on these populations. While reaching all parts of the Washington state, the Initiative will also prioritize family child care businesses in more rural and remote areas that serve a high percentage of essential workers or BIPOC children.

They will give priority to community-based organizations, intermediaries, state-wide organizations and coalitions serving the following people who face disproportionate impacts of COVID-19:

They will also give priority to organizations serving rural and remote communities of central, eastern, and coastal Washington, as well as rural and underserved communities in Western Washington.
