Anglian Water Invasive Species Fund (United Kingdom): Apply Now

2022 Water Innovation Program in Canada

Deadline: 01-Nov-20

The Cambridgeshire Community Foundation is seeking applications for its Anglian Water Invasive Species Fund that protects and enhances the species and habitats on its sites and across the region. The Anglian Water Invasive Species Fund will only support projects to control giant hogweed where professional specialists are used.

As part of this commitment, the company has set up the Anglian Water Invasive Species Fund to make grants to fund projects which prevent the introduction and/or spread of invasive non-native species (INNS) where such projects will prevent the deterioration of a waterbody or reduce the threat to the conservation objectives of wetlands designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, Special Area of Conservation or Special Protection Area.

Anglian Water is the largest water and water recycling company in England and Wales by geographic area. The company employs over 4,000 people and supplies water and water recycling services to more than six million domestic and business customers in the East of England and Hartlepool.
