Variety WA is pleased to announce Individual Grants Program that aim to support the needs of kids under the age of 18 who live in Western Australia, when no government or other assistance is available.
Outcome
Successful applications:
If the application is successful, applicants will be notified in writing (email or post).
- The approval letter will have instructions to explain the process of how to access the approved funds.
- Funds must be utilised within twelve months of approval.
Examples of equipment/items that may be provided / contributed towards; (not limited to these items):
- Mobility equipment (wheelchairs, walkers etc)
- Bike/Trike (modified/unmodified)
- Home modifications (disability specific)
- Vehicle modifications / already modified vehicle (second-hand)
- Medical equipment
- Sensory equipment
- Assistive technology
- Sunshine Coaches (organisation specific)
- Play equipment
- Resources
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, you must be applying on behalf of:
- A child under the age of 18
- A child residing in WA
- A child living with a disability, sickness (chronic illness) or disadvantage (financial, geographic, social)
- A school, community organisation or not-for-profit who directly support kids under the age of 18 who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability.
