Are you between 18 and 27 years old and want to explore the continent this autumn, If yes, then apply for the Schwarzkopf Foundation’s travel grant.
The Schwarzkopf Foundation is currently inviting applicants for its travel grants with an aim to get youngsters and young adults interested in Europe. The journey should take place before March 2018 and shouldn’t start later than December 2017. Applicants should do their research on one of the following questions:
- The travels should focus on your personal experience in (culturally) new environments.
- What makes you feel welcome in a city and how does a city welcome you?
- How can you meet people in a new city?
- How can you connect with others and seek contact to them?
- What helps you to feel connected to the city?
- Where do you look for information on social events and how do you join them?
- How did you experience the idea of European identity on your trip?
Funding Information
- The travel grant amounts to 550 € (five hundred and fifty euros).
- The grantee will be paid 400 € at the beginning of the journey and 150 € after presenting the report.
Eligibility Criteria
- Everyone between the ages of 18 and 27 permanently residing in one of the 47 Council of Europe member states or Kosovo can apply for a travel grant.
- The foundation strongly encourages young people from all educational backgrounds as well as those residing in rural areas to apply.
