Aviva is seeking applications for its Community Fund that offers a chance to get funding for an important cause in applicant’s community.
It’s open to everyone – the general public as well as Aviva customers, employees, insurance brokers or financial advisers (whether associated with Aviva or not). They want applicants to enter a project for their community and tell us what a difference these much-needed funds could make.
The Aviva Community Fund will finance over 500 projects across four different fund levels and four categories, giving our awards to communities throughout the UK.
Project Categories
Entrants must choose a category for their project as part of the entry process.
- Health and Wellbeing: This is the category for any project for any age group linked to physical or mental health, sport, outdoor pursuits or anything of that kind.
- Skills for Life: Projects in this category can help people of all ages – from schools to groups for older people – develop skills to make their lives easier or more fulfilling.
- Community Support: From regeneration projects to local support groups, this category offers support for anything that is important to their wider community, including community events.
- Inclusivity: Projects in this category will understand that and work to develop closer ties within the community. Projects in this category will help build relationships and bring people from diverse backgrounds together.
Funding Information
To suit projects of different sizes, the funding levels applicants can apply for are:
- Up to £1,000
- Up to £5,000
- Up to £10,000
- Up to £25,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant’s project is right for the Aviva Community Fund if it:
- will make a positive difference in their community
- is associated with a community organisation or charity, and will take place in the UK
- will be completed or well underway before 31 December 2018
- can ideally be completed with the requested funding alone.
- The Aviva funds projects within communities in the United Kingdom.
