British Academy Accepting Proposals for The Humanities and Social Sciences Tackling the UK’s International Challenges 2019

2022 NOFO for NGO programs in Tanzania and Uganda

The British Academy is currently accepting proposals for its funding program “The Humanities and Social Sciences Tackling the UK’s International Challenges 2019”.

The purpose of each project will be to bring original interdisciplinary research ideas from the humanities and social sciences to bear on their understanding of the international challenges and opportunities which the UK has faced, is facing and/or will face.

In this round the British Academy inviting applications which relate to the theme of European identities and/or borders.

Expected Outcomes

The projects will aim to achieve the following outcomes:

Awards of up to £50,000 and 18 months in duration are available.
