The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) / Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) is now accepting applications for its Building Capacity for Chronic Disease Education and Awareness Grant Program.

The purpose of this NOFO is to expand and advance CDC’s work on education, outreach, and public awareness activities to strengthen the science base for prevention, education, and public health awareness for a variety of chronic diseases that do not currently have dedicated resources that would lead to meaningful patient outcomes. Recipients will focus on data collection and dissemination, education, and public awareness activities that will support effective, evidencebased clinical and population-level approaches to improve health and health equity.
