The Meath County Council is accepting applications for Annual Arts Grant to support organisations, groups or individuals in the provision of local arts activities which enhance long-term development and sustainability of the arts in County Meath.
Assistance shall be given only in respect of arts activities held in County Meath occurring in 2024.
Note: The person applying on behalf of the group organisation will be the primary contact for queries relating to your application.
Funding Information
- The maximum grant available is €1,000.
Conditions
- The Annual Arts Grants are competition based and previously funded organisations/individuals/groups are not guaranteed repeat funding.
- All applications must be made online.
- Organisations/individuals/groups applying for an Annual Arts Grant must be Meath based and must provide a valid eircode.
- This award is available for activities taking place in 2024; it is not available for activities which have taken place in previous years.
- Awardees must credit Meath County Council Arts Office in all publicity and through online logo placement in acknowledgement of funding received.
- Applicants may make multiple applications for funding through the different available funding strands; however if successful, funding will be awarded through one funding strand only. Applicants in receipt of funding through this award will not receive funding through subsequent 2024 awards.
- All Annual Arts Grant awards will be made in accordance with Meath County Council Arts Plan 2019 – 2024.
- Meath County Council Arts Office reserves the right to review, amend, revise or revoke this scheme at its own discretion at any time.
- Meath County Council shall not be liable to the applicant or any other party, in respect of any loss, damage or costs of any nature arising directly or indirectly from: the application or the subject matter of the application, the rejection for any reason of any application.
- Meath County Council shall not be held responsible or liable, at any time in any circumstances, in relation to any matter whatsoever arising in connection with the administration of activities.
Health & Safety
- Activities involving children and young people (0-18 yrs.) must have up to date Child Protection Policies and Procedures in place in accordance with the Children First Act 2015 and Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children 2017.
- Events or projects engaging members of the public, including virtual events, require a Health & Safety Event Plan and a Risk Assessment and applicants must declare pertinent, up-to-date documents in place.
