Call for Applications: Grant Counterpart Health Outreach Project (Malaysia)

Request for Proposals to improve access to healthcare

Deadline: 02-Jul-2024

The Malaysian Red Crescent is excited to announce an opportunity for organisations passionate about making a difference in community health. The MRCS is looking for dedicated grant counterparts to collaborate on the Health Outreach Project.

The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) is disbursing grants to counterparts for the Health Equity and Empowerment for all Populations (HEEAP) Project, an initiative under the Health and Vaccination Team of the MRCS National Health Committee (NHC). This project is funded by the Malaysia-United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Trust Fund (Malaysia-UN SDG Trust Fund).

The HEEAP Project was initiated to address the healthcare challenges faced by underserved communities in Peninsular Malaysia, particularly refugees, migrants, displaced persons, Orang Asli and homeless communities. The project will include health outreach services, capacity building of community health workers, awareness workshops, health camps, case management, and research.
