Call for Applications: Liberia Support Program

Planning & Capacity Program in the US

Deadline: 05-Jun-2024

The Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development (EJS Center) is seeking proposals from Liberian grassroots organizations who are experts in the fields of Financial Inclusion, Youth Education and Skills Training.

Eligible organizations must be registered in Liberia and women-led and/or women focused. Interested organizations must have a proven capacity to develop and implement targeted interventions at the community/grassroots level in Liberia.

The Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development (EJS Center) was founded in 2018 to be a catalyst for political and social change across Africa by helping unleash its most abundant latent power — its women. Since 2022, the Center has awarded grants varying from $20,000-40,000 United States Dollars to eight local organizations who have used the funds to build wells, provide computer and other skills training and start a village saving and loan.
