Call for EOIs: Scale Up and Institutionalization of National Child-Centred Contingency Planning Guidelines (Indonesia)

The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund is accepting applications for Scale Up and Institutionalization of National Child-Centred Contingency Planning Guidelines (CCCP).

United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund plans to support the BNPB to fully institutionalize the CCCP to their training programme and procedures by implementing key capacity development and policy actions jointly with BNPB.

Expected Results

• With the objective of strengthening Child-centered Contingency Planning (CCCP) at the Local Level for Timely and Effective Humanitarian Action for Children, this partnership will support the scale up and institutionalization of national Child-Centred Contingency Planning Guidelines and contribute to the achievement of CPAP Output:
  • Disaster risk reduction and disaster management Activity Provide technical support to the development of risk-informed, child-centred national and local DRM policies and plans. The main activities to support the CPAP output:
    • Support dissemination of the Child-Centred Contingency Planning Guidelines at the national and sub-national levels.
    • Support capacity development for comprehensive child-centred contingency plans development in the UNICEF focus provinces.
  • The National Government integrated the CCCP into the BNPB national training program at national and sub-national level
  • The provincial and district governments committed to integrate CCCP into sub-national contingency plan.
