Call for Proposals: Supporting CSOs to strengthen Active Participation & Increased Decision-Making of Women in Burundi

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) has launched a Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) under the project ‘Catalyzing Women’s Entrepreneurship’ (CWE), funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada, and implemented by ESCAP.

Through this call for Expressions of Interest (EOI), ESCAP intends to partner with national/regional civil society organizations, community-based organizations and private not for profit, to reduce the burden and pressure stemming from over-indebtedness on Cambodian women entrepreneurs, and where applicable, their families.

ESCAP’s grant can be used to support the funds operational development/expansion costs, legal fees, research, identification of interventions to support debt reduction, capacity building, monitoring of impact, and other related expenses as per the nature of the submission.

The objective is to partner and provide grant funding in Cambodia, one of the Catalysing Women’s Entrepreneurship (CWE) programme’s focus countries, in the following theme:

Target end customers: The project activities should focus on reducing the burden and repercussions of over-indebtedness and increasing the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs in Cambodia.
