The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched a call for proposals to identify successful and/or promising experiences in Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Family Violence (FV) prevention, response, reparations, institutional strengthening and data innovation to be showcased at an upcoming Knowledge Fair.

The Knowledge Fair “Empowering Voices, Ending Gender-Based Violence” is an innovative and culturally vibrant gathering that aims to tackle Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the Caribbean. Organized under the auspices of the Spotlight Initiative Caribbean Regional Programme, the fair will take place from November 6th to 8th, 2023 in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The fair seeks to foster cooperation, partnerships, and knowledge exchange among governments, civil society, academia, and grassroots communities. This is an invitational event aimed at curating a compelling and diverse program of experiences and impactful initiatives. Through dynamic discussions, artistic expressions, and interactive sessions, the Knowledge Fair provides a platform for showcasing successful initiatives, celebrating actors, promoting cross-learning, and amplifying the impact of effective strategies.
