Mediacentar Sarajevo in cooperation with the Centre for Social Research Analytics, Your Rights Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Rights for All, is seeking proposals from civil society organizations (CSOs) for its program implemented under the title ” Equality for all coalition of civil society in the fight against discrimination ‘‘, with the support of USAID and the Open Society Fund BiH.
Coalition “Equality for all” strongly emphasizes and encourages applicants to design activities and projects at the local level, and to address specific cases, forms and practices of discrimination.
Program Categories
Civil society organizations can apply for projects in the two main grant programs:
- Program I: Advocacy and the law on the prohibition of discrimination.
- Program II: Promotion of the principles of equality, the mechanisms for protection against discrimination and anti-discrimination.
Funding Information
In the framework of this call total is expected to be allocated about $ 130,000
- Each grant awarded in the framework of the program I and will be at least $ 10,000, and a maximum of $ 30,000.
- Each grant awarded in the framework of the program II will be at least $ 10,000, and a maximum of $ 20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Suitable applicants are non-profit civil society organisations registered in BiH. Holders of the project cannot be from organizations whose registration or activities it is clear that humanitarian organizations, public institutions, schools, hospitals, but are encouraged to participate in the project as partners.
- The main applicant can have one or more partner organisations. The newly created organizations, and organizations that do not have the relevant experience from a given area may not be applicants but are desirable as partners.
- Partner organizations may be non-profit organisations or other legal entities registered in BiH (institutions, educational organisations, the media, etc.), with the only non-profit organizations can directly finance through a grant. The main applicant can for other legal entities bear only the costs of road and accommodation and less fees for professional staff of the partners involved in the specific project activities.
