Call for Proposals: EU-China Cooperation on Wildlife Protection

The European Union (EU) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for a program entitled “EU-China Cooperation on Wildlife Protection” in order to contribute to the implementation of EU Action Plan against Wildlife Trafficking by supporting the action of China in this field.

The objectives of this call for proposals are to support China-EU efforts in tackling wildlife trafficking by undertaking a targeted awareness raising or communication activity to address one of the key gaps to raise awareness and knowledge in particular amongst Chinese actors in a position to reduce trafficking and potential consumers of illegal wildlife products or endangered species.

Size of Grants

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall EUR 1,150,000.00.

In order to apply for the grants, applicants have to register themselves in PADOR, an on-line database via given website.

Eligible Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK, China.
