Call for Proposals: Organizing activities under the project “Bringing Living Heritage to Classroom in Asia-Pacific”

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Office in Bangkok, with support from the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) and the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding under the auspices of UNESCO (APCEIU), is seeking a contractor to organize activities under the project “Bringing Living Heritage to Classroom in Asia-Pacific” which will strengthen capacities of teachers, policymakers and other educational/cultural stakeholders in Thailand and Lao PDR to support the integration of ICH in schools.

UNESCO and partners aim to adapt these resource materials and guidelines to strengthen the integration of ICH in schools in Asia-Pacific region; develop capacities of teachers and other educational/cultural stakeholders in selected Asia-Pacific countries (i.e. Thailand and Lao PDR) and broadly disseminate a wide selection of good ICH-linked educational practices and lesson plans.

The contractor is requested to carry out the following tasks:

Duration: 1 March 2023 – 31 August 2023, tentatively.

Duty station: Bangkok or Northeastern Thailand (any province).
