The Cause We Care Foundation is inviting applications for Community Grants.
Cause We Care strategically invests in the success of single mothers. they support programs and initiatives that empower single mothers to achieve economic security, build capacity, and create a positive future for themselves and their children.
Funding Information
- The maximum grant is $30,000/year.
- Grants will be made for a period of one year.
Outcomes
They are committed to developing and investing in high quality programs in the community that have proven effective at positively impacting the lives of single mothers and their children by achieving at least one of the following measurable outcomes:
- Single Mothers have improved economic security
- Improved housing
- Improved employment
- Improved financial support
- Single Mothers have increased personal capacity
- Improved education
- Improved mental health and well being
- Improved support networks/reduced isolation
- Children in single mother-led families have greater opportunities and improved well-being
- Improved access to programs and services to support children’s needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organization applying for a grant must be a registered Canadian charity which is providing direct services to single mothers and/or their children within the BC Lower Mainland.
