European Commission: Innovative Multi-Use Projects Combining Offshore Renewable Energy

The British Council is pleased to announce a partnership opportunity for a UK-based skills organisation to collaborate with Arusha Technical College and VETA Singida with a focus on renewable energy sector.

Arusha Technical College hosts a centre of excellence for renewable energy at the Electrical Engineering Department and provides quality training in solar photovoltaic systems. The college works closely with employers and hosts a permanent representative of Tanzania Renewable Energy Association (TAREA).

The UK and Tanzanian partners will share knowledge and expertise in the area of curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies and technologies within the renewable energy sector and will collaborate to deliver an agreed action plan, developed within the first month of the project.

The successful UK institution will have demonstrable experience in curriculum development and innovation in renewables and energy efficiency sector.
