CFPs: Training for MoEM and other Stakeholders in Oman – MENA Scholarship Programme (Netherlands)

Nuffic is offering an opportunity for Dutch training providers to organise a knowledge exchange programme in the field of Port Management & (green) hydrogen for staff members of the Ministry of Energy & Minerals (MoEM) and representatives of other relevant organisations in Oman as part of the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP).

The Sultanate of Oman represented by the energy sector and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MoEM) is interested in the production of green hydrogen and becoming the world leading producer. It enjoys several advantages such as the combination of solar and wind energy, availability of extended lands, in addition to its long experience in energy production, export and its centrality in markets and international trade routes. This will contribute to achieve Oman’s plans to be an important centre for green hydrogen production and exportation as well as reaching net zero emissions by year 2050.

To be in line with the global transformation into lower carbon economies, and the wider usage of green hydrogen to generate electrical power and provide thermal energy, the Ministry in coordination with its partner work on:
