Council of Europe: Investigative Journalism Stories on Human Trafficking in North Macedonia

Within the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey II” – action on “Preventing and combating human trafficking in North Macedonia”, the Council of Europe is launching a call for grants, which is to be opened to journalists and media working in North Macedonia.

Through this call, the action on “Preventing and combating human trafficking in North Macedonia” will co-fund eight (8) projects aimed at supporting investigative journalism for telling stories on human trafficking in print and/or electronic media.

The Action on Preventing and Combating Human Trafficking in North Macedonia (HF29) aims to assist the beneficiary institutions to follow up on the recommendations of the Council of Europe Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) provided in the second country-evaluation report (GRETA (2017)39).
