CST Inspired Minds Learning Project in Canada

Variety the Children's Charity launches Individual Grants - Australia

Deadline: 11-Jun-21

The Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation is inviting proposals for a micro-grants program that supports education programs for children and youth in grades K-12.

The Learning Project funds community-based learning activities for children and youth in grades K-12 across Canada. Their goal is to promote access to post-secondary education for lower-income families. They do this through the Learning Project by providing micro-grants to community organizations that provide programs that enhance academic skills and engagement for K-12 students from lower-income families. Through their grants, they hope to support community-based organizations in offering new or existing programs to prepare and equip students with the skills required to pursue post-secondary education.

They believe in the power of education and that all children should have access to post-secondary education. They know that post-secondary aspirations and planning are shaped by the quality of children’s K-12 educational experiences. But the quality of those experiences varies greatly across their country.

That’s why the CST Inspired Minds Learning Project has been around since 2014 supporting important learning activities for children and youth in grades K-12.
