DFID Call for Applications: Saving Lives in Sierra Leone (SLISL) through Health Programmes

DFID is seeking applications from eligible applicants to manage the implementation of UK funded support to the health sector in Sierra Leone.

DFID support is through a wide ranging programme called Saving Lives in Sierra Leone (SLISL) which is aligned to the Government of Sierra Leone’s (GoSL) post Ebola Presidential Recovery Priorities for health and will support priority, cost effective, interventions to improve health service delivery and save child and maternal lives.

The programme will be implemented by UN partners (World Health Organisation (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and the GoSL, through its Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MoHS). The programme will run from 2016/17 to 2020/21.

The supplier will manage and coordinate all of the implementing partners and will be responsible for timely contracting, management and reporting of all agencies receiving support under the programme. The supplier may also implement some components of the programme.
