DFID: Economic Growth in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – Policy Innovation Facility

Deadline: 28 February 2018

The UK’s Department for International Development is seeking applications for its program entitled “Economic growth in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – Policy Innovation Facility” with an aim to turn high-level political support for growth and prosperity initiatives into policies, strategies and plans which will strengthen economic development, governance and resilience in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Central Asia.

Initiatives are defined as coherent, evidence based ideas on how to deliver the National Development Strategies of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan or similar plans elsewhere in the region. The SP will work with executive offices, ministries, state agencies and local government to help unlock better use of public, private and development partner finance for downstream implementation. It will not fund long-term assistance or investments to support the implementation of initiatives.

Funding Information

The programme will fund short term technical expert assignments of up to 12 months duration and a maximum of £500,000 per supported initiative.

How to Apply

Interested applicants must apply online using DFID supplier portal.
