DFID: Increasing Family Planning Use through Interventions to Change Shared Behaviours and Beliefs in Mozambique

Submit Applications for the Africa Mother and Child Grants Programme 2020 – 2021

The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) is currently seeking applications for its programme titled- Increasing Family Planning Use through Interventions to Change Shared Behaviours and Beliefs in Mozambique.

The UK will provide new funds to strengthen Mozambique’s health system and improve reproductive, maternal, neonatal and adolescent health (from now on referred to as RMH) for up to 4 million people. RMH is an internationally accepted proxy measure for the strength of the health system, with progress in this area an indication that the overall system is getting stronger.

It will also help meet the Sustainable Development Goals on healthy lives and empowering women and girls.
