The UK’s Department of International Development (DFID) is currently seeking applications from the service providers to undertake the rule of Independent Evaluation Agent (IEA) for the Afghanistan Investment Climate Programme (AICP).
The IEA will undertake independent evaluation of the AICP and will be reporting directly to DFID and the donors’ committee that composed of donors that co-funds AICP with the UK.
The purpose of the evaluation is to examine the effectiveness of the programme in delivering legal and regulatory reforms and other pillars under AICP.
This also include the examination of the wider effects, the programme has on the economic growth and jobs creation; and understand how the combination of interventions has led to those changes and what the critical elements for effective implementation are.
