The UK’s Department of International Development (DFID) is currently seeking applicants to deliver the third phase of its Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF programme) – The United Kingdom Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (UKNIAF).
The selected applicant will be expected to deliver the programme’s five output areas over a period of four years (2017-2021). Building on the success of the two earlier phases of the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (2007-2016) the programme will provide high quality embedded and short-term expertise to Nigerian government and regulatory counterparts to support improved delivery of infrastructure services.
Priority Areas
The five component work areas are expected to be:
- the power sector; Federal roads;
- systems for driving better value from the Federal capital budget;
- support for the development of Public Private Partnerships; and
- the provision of expertise to restore infrastructure and related services in Borno and Yobe States in North East Nigeria.
