DOVE Chocolate InstaGrants Contest is open to women small business entrepreneurs physically located in the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia.
Throughout the Contest Period, eligible entrants will have the opportunity to create an original “elevator pitch” video to promote their small business, why It’s Innovative and what they would do with the Investment. For purposes of this Contest, a “small business” Is defined as “a business having no more than ten (10) employees and generating not more than $100,000/year in sales. Once an entrant’s original video Is complete, they must post It on instagram along the Hashtag and the Tag to complete their entry. Alternatively, entrants will be able to enter at the Contest Website.

From December 5 – December 19, women can pitch their business ideas via video for a chance to win one of three grants and business promotion.
In 30 seconds or less, share your business idea, why it’s innovative, and what you would do with their investment. Bonus points for female-first and sustainable businesses.
Funding Information
- Three (3) Grand Prizes are available. Each Grand Prize consists of a $10,000 grant (to be awarded in the form of a check to the winner’s business) to be used towards the advancement of the winner’s small business (the “Prize”) (ARV S10,000 each winner). Total value of all prizes $30,000. Additionally, each winner will have an opportunity for their winning video to be Included in business marketing opportunities in the future, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
- Note: There is no guarantee that Sponsor will use the video in the future and, the winner will receive no additional compensation other than the Prize.
Eligibility Criteria
- This Contest is open only to legal United States residents residing In the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry; and are women entrepreneurs with a small business. Employees, officers and directors of Dove Chocolate, Its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (collectively, “Contest Entities”) and each of their immediate family members (e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses and the “steps” of each, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Vold where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions and interpretations, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize Is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Entrants and/or potential winners may be required to provide proof of Identification and eligibility as required by Sponsor.
- ONLINE ENTRY: Record and upload: 30 video and complete the online entry form.
- Remember, your video must be: 30 seconds or less, those that are longer will be disqualified.
Selection Criteria
- Each Submission must meet the following “Submission Requirements” (any Submission that, in Sponsors sole and absolute discretion, violates the following criteria will be disqualified):
- Video entries submitted on instagram must be posted to a non-private instagram account;
- Submission must feature the entrant’s original video;
- Entrant must be the rightful owner of the Submission, including the featured original video, Included with the entry;
- Video included as part of Submission must be no longer than 30-seconds long and not exceed 150MB;
- Any video included with a Submission must not be a duplicate of a previously submitted video and/or must be substantially different than previously submitted video(s) in the Contest;
- Entrant must be the primary subject / spokesperson in the video included with any Submission;
- Submission must NOT contain any material that infringes or violates any right of a third-party including copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights. For example, Submission should NOT contain reference to sports team logos, celebrities, names or logos of businesses, copyright protected music or lyrics, or clips from television shows or movies;
- Submission must NOT Include third parties/people, who have not expressly authorized in writing the entrant to feature their name, Image, likeness or voice in the Submission or otherwise use such name, Image, likeness or voice In accordance with these Official Rules (if applicable, any selected winner may be required to verify such authorization In the form of a release);
- Submission must NOT contain subject matter which Is, or could be considered, in the sole discretion of the Contest Entities, obscene, pornographic, violent (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), defamatory, libelous, discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g., Illegal gambling, underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, hateful, degrading, harassing, or otherwise unlawful, tortious or objectionable;
- Submission must NOT contain any content that promotes any particular political agenda or message;
- Submission must NOT contain any personal identification, such as personal names or e-mall addresses other than the entrant (if applicable);
- Submission must NOT communicate messages or Images inconsistent with the positive Images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate;
- Submission must NOT violate any law;
- Submission must NOT contain any content that is protected by copyright (without the express prior written consent of the owner of such right), including any music or Include any recognizable locations or Include names and/or descriptions of any copyrighted media production, including, without limitation, films, books, television programming, etc., or identifying descriptions of any media property; and
- Submission must NOT contain any derogatory references to any of the Contest Entitles.
