Education Competitive Grants Program in the US

The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) is seeking applications for the Education Competitive Grants Program to recognize research, education, and extension efforts will have the greatest impacts when equity is grounded in the programs.

The purpose of this program is to promote and strengthen the ability of Alaska Native-Serving Institutions and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions to carry out education, applied research, and related community development programs. NIFA intends this program to address educational needs, as determined by each institution, within a broadly defined area of food and agricultural sciences.

Funding Information

The amount available for grant funding for the Alaska Native-Serving and Native HawaiianServing Institutions Education Competitive Grants Program (ANNH) in FY 2022 is approximately $3,000,000 and for FY 2023 approximately $3,000,000.
