The Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ Foundation) is inviting applications for the Education in Digital Learning Spaces Programme.
Digital media and technologies enable multiple new communication and education formats and open up opportunities for interaction, but at the same time they also pose challenges. The digital space can serve simultaneously as a learning space for civic education and also a resonating space for fake news, revisionism, Holocaust denial and conspiracy ideologies. By funding digital projects for civic education, they would like to further accompany the digital transformation and specifically explore the effects on civic education, historical consciousness and the culture of remembrance.
Objectives
- Support for memorials, places of learning, historical museums, documentation centers as well as supporters and multipliers of historical-political education during the expansion their existing approaches and formats in the digital space to also new target groups to reach;
- Encouraging the development of innovative digital offers and forms of communication Education, remembrance and commemoration of that NS injustice;
- the narrative and representational forms of the social Media are used as spaces of experience;
- Strengthening of a fact-based, history-conscious and critical culture of remembrance in digital spaces.
Funding Information
The application amount must be at least 250,000 euros.
Who is sponsored?
- Grant recipients can private non-profit and public organizations and be institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
The projects
- open up new dimensions of the digital remembering and learning;
