The Northland Foundation in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Education on behalf of the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund.

The purpose of this grant program is to distribute funding for emergency wrap-around early care and education services for children ages 0-8 from underserved populations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in northeastern Minnesota.

The focus of the grant opportunity is towards providing services and supports for children 0-8 years of age from underserved populations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in northeastern Minnesota communities and Tribal Nations.

Projects should be completed between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 and support the following types of services:
