The Surrey Heath Borough Council is currently seeking applications for its Emergency Food & Fuel/Energy Scheme to support local-not-for-profit groups delivering services to those experiencing hardship in the Borough.
This scheme is in addition to and is not designed to replace any existing funding streams, such as free school meals provided by the Government.
Funding Information
- A maximum limit of £5,000 per application or organisation for either food or fuel/energy cost.
Criteria
- The group must have a constituted group, a registered charity/ CIO/CIC with their own bank account and two signatories.
- Applications are restricted to the areas of Surrey Heath only.
- A copy of the last bank statement and financial accounts are required.
- Please clearly identify how this bid will help meet the local need via a foodbank, or with meeting fuel/energy costs when setting up a ‘warm bank’ type of initiative: Applications to include a clear plan providing information relating to timescales, locations, total costs, community benefits and any others who have been approached to fund this work.
