Call for Proposals: Civic Education on Elections in South Sudan

Deadline: 5 December 2016

The European Union (EU) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for a programme entitled “Strengthening Democracy through Electoral Reform”  in order to strengthen democracy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The specific objective of this call for proposals is to contribute to the Strengthening Democracy through Electoral Reform process including through domestic election observation, provision of legal aid to citizens to defend their electoral rights, and civic and voter education

Size of Grants

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between EUR 600 000 and EUR 1 017 000.

Location

Actions must take place in The Kyrgyz Republic.

Duration

The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 30 months.

In order to apply for the grants, applicants have to register themselves in PADOR, an on-line database via given website.

Eligible Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK
