EU Call for Proposals: Enhancing Civil Society Organisations’ Contributions to Governance and Development Processes in the Republic of Mauritius

The European Union (EU) has announced a call for proposals for its “Enhancing Civil Society Organisations’ Contributions to Governance and Development Processes in the Republic of Mauritius” to support Civil Society Organisations’ contributions to governance and accountability through inclusive policymaking – hence empowering citizens and populations through the voicing and structuring of their collective demands, to tackle injustice and inequality, to benefit from qualitative social services and to profit from wealth and job creation.

The global objective of this call for proposals shall be the enhancement of Civil Society Organisations’ participation in the Republic of Mauritius’ public policies and programmes as a pre-condition for a more equitable, open and democratic society.

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:

Eligible Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, and Republic of Mauritius.
