The European Commission , through its representation in Denmark,  initiates a call for proposals to lead the EUROPE DIRECT centers in the period 2021 – 2025  with a view to selecting partners.

EUROPE DIRECT engages in a proactive and ongoing dialogue with citizens to give them greater co-responsibility for the European project. By organizing information and involvement activities, EUROPE DIRECT enables citizens to make informed choices about the future of the European Union (EU), in which they participate fully in the European democratic process.

EUROPE DIRECT is also responsive to citizens’ expectations and makes it possible to provide feedback to the EU institutions. EUROPE DIRECT works closely with the Europe Commission Representations and with the Liaison Offices of the European Parliament  in the various Member States. They also strive to cooperate with other EU networks and local contact points, including relevant local networks (where they exist), and promote and coordinate exchanges between them.
