DLT4EU Open Call inviting Ambitious Teams, Leading Innovators, and Developers based in Europe

Deadline: 17 March 2017

European Commission is seeking proposals for the program entitled “European Solidarity Corps – occupational strand” with an aim to offer remunerated work opportunities in line with the values of the European Solidarity Corps to young nationals within the age bracket 18 – 30 in EU countries other than their country of residence.

The European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation “EaSI” 2014-20202 is a European-level financing instrument managed directly by the European Commission to contribute to the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy, by providing financial support for the Union’s objectives in terms of promoting a high level of quality and sustainable employment, guaranteeing adequate and decent social protection, combating social exclusion and poverty and improving working conditions.

The occupational strand of the European Solidarity Corps aims at providing young people with the opportunity of a job, traineeship or apprenticeship in sectors that are engaged in solidarity activities and have a demand for highly motivated and socially minded young people.

The overall objective is to test and apply selection and matching processes to secure cross border placements of such young people.
